After Itai graduated from high school, he tried to volunteer for national service but was not accepted in several places. He almost gave up. After sitting idly at home for a long time, he was referred to Bayit Cham.

The wonderful, expert Irit, our vocational coach in the southern region, has gone through an amazing process with him… Itai started working at the Rami Levy supermarket. Despite the physical challenges, he learned how to conduct himself in the work world. He acquired tools and skills with lots of appreciation and camaraderie from his co-workers.

Recently, after a year at the job, Itai felt ripe to move forward and actualize his high abilities. The unique collaboration between the Bnei Brak Municipality’s Yated youth program and Bayit Cham’s Tze’adim coaching center is good news for girls aged 18-26 who are or want to be dating for marriage.

The Tze’adim coaching center has already brought great benefit to hundreds of men and women who have acquired tools for proper and effective communication, so why not offer it to young women at such an important time in their lives?

We all know that healthy communication is an essential skill for marital success. Therefore, many young women are fearful for their futures, questioning their ability to communicate well with their prospective spouse and his family – something that they know will greatly affect their quality of life, the stability of the family structure and the ability to live a happy and peaceful life.

To this end, the Bnei Brak Municipality in collaboration with Bayit Cham is presenting a dedicated coaching program that will allow participants to receive the best professional tools for healthy and proactive interpersonal communication.

The proposed program consists of three two-and-a-half-hour sessions in which professional coaches will lecture on healthy communication, developing listening skills, working on emotions and behavior patterns, identifying types of communication, learning conversational skills, effective change processes and more. The workshop promotes self-discovery; participants clarify and understand what drives them, what they need to work on and how.

Upon completion of the workshop series, participants leave feeling more secure, equipped with tools for life in general and for dating and marriage in particular – more confident that with G-d’s help, they will be able to navigate this stage of life in the best way possible. The coaching is facilitated by carefully selected professional coaches, licensed by the Israel Coaches’ Association, with expertise in effective presentation of modalities in workshops and lectures with sensitivity, specifically adapted to the needs of the ultra-Orthodox young woman. The workshop is fully subsidized by the Yated program in the Bnei Brak Municipality’s Department of Youth.
