Hadar’s Baked Goods – They Taste the Best😊

Hadar, a 36-year-old devoted wife, and the mother of two adorable children, receives vocational coaching from Billi Levy, our expert staff member in Israel’s Far North.
Hadar, too, has achieved freedom this year!
Until last January, Hadar worked as a cleaning lady – a job she did not enjoy, with very few work hours each week, low wages and no satisfaction. So together with Billi, they began job hunting and then hunting some more until they found… Alice’s Bakery❤️
Her co-workers warmly welcomed Hadar and for 3 months now, Hadar has been working every day at a fun job that she loves, with regular work hours and a rewarding salary. Hadar enjoys placing every olive on the pizza pies and shaking delicious spices on top.
If you get to taste it, then you will know that Hadar baked it with great love!
Try some!
Kudos to Hadar for her diligence, persistence and industriousness at work‼️ Keep succeeding and having fun🏆
And a great big thank you to Billi for guiding yet another person through the amazing process of achieving freedom…❤️

Do you remember Tzvika?

Tzvika, 50 years old, is married and the father of two. He lives in Israel’s north and has been receiving vocational rehab services in Bayit Cham’s Shacharit program for three years.
When he first came to Galit, his expert vocational coach at Bayit Cham, he was troubled and frustrated after he’d been discharged from the hospital for a medical condition, and in the midst of a personal crisis. Beyond that, he was unemployed and his home situation was complex and tense. He really wanted to help himself but didn’t know how or where to start.
At soon as Galit start working with him, together they built a personal development plan in which they set big goals and small objections towards achieving success. The first step for Tzvika was to get a job that matched his capabilities at that time. He started out as a newspaper distributor for “Yisrael Hayom”. Galit worked with Tzvika on important employment and life skills such as motivation, perseverance, financial management, responsibility, increasing emotional resilience, and more, one step at a time. Tzvika began to return to a more balanced life – emotionally, medically (he lost 30 kg. / 66 lb.!), within the family, and financially.
Tzvika continued to blossom and progress. Very recently, he felt that he was ready to advance further. With Galit’s help, Tzvika left ‘Yisrael Hayom’ and now works in security, netting 3 times (!) what he had earned at his previous job. Tzvika is content and delighted, both for the amazing process he had undergone, and his impressive achievements. We are so proud of Tzvika and thank Galit Mor-Yosef for her professional, humane work, promoting such growth.
We have witnessed Tzvika’s breakthrough from bondage to freedom ❤️.

Good Deeds in Shiluvim ❤️

This week, no fewer than 8 National Insurance employees at the Bnei Brak branch came to visit Bayit Cham’s Shiluvim Center in honor of Good Deeds Day.
They chose to come to us (!) from among many organizations to bring joy to our 70 lovely Shiluvim participants.
The women at Shiluvim cope with mental health challenges, but this does not stop them in their rehabilitation process! They are exemplary workers and acquire many tools and skills at Shiluvim to prepare them for life and for the world of work💪. All this, with the help of our professional staff of course.
So there was a delicious chocolate workshop, and a particularly enjoyable napkin folding workshop. It was not clear who was more moved – the workshop facilitators or the participants! (Hint: Doing good feels the best❤️🔝)
Thank you to our National Insurance friends for doing good with fun and excitement and in general – thank you for the fruitful cooperation with us throughout the year, all over Israel!
And you… Did you manage to do some good on Good Deeds Day? If not, here’s an opportunity 😍
With one click and without any effort, you can donate to the benefit of the women at the Shiluvim Center and do good all year long ❤️

A toast to freedom!🍷

Shortly before Pesach, the entire rehabilitation department staff from all over Israel gathered to celebrate the approaching holiday.
They were pampered with scrumptious food, a gorgeous place with a wafting sea breeze, and the participation of CEO Rabbi Arie Munk who came specially to greet them. Everyone was moved when representatives of the various districts shared personal stories of freedom and what freedom means to them. The crux of the event was the person-to-person contact, the unity, the hugs and the huge hearts of these amazing people❤️
A huge thanks to the rehabilitation staff that helps others achieve freedom with love and professionalism throughout the year💙
Thank you to Bayit Cham’s administration and our dear program directors who organized this exciting event and made it possible.
Have a Happy Holiday of Freedom!

Round 4 of Handyman has been successfully completed!

After a full year in which Handyman program participants learned to paint, saw, pick locks, assemble pipes and much more, and – above all – learned appropriate workplace behavior and strengthen motivation and required skills, a moving graduation ceremony took place last Thursday, marking the end of another successful round of this wonderful program.
The graduation was attended by representatives of the National Insurance Institute (NII) and the Rehabilitation Fund, the program staff, Bayit Cham’s directorship, many government bodies’ Southern District rehabilitation departments, as well as all the program participants and their proud families.
The ceremony opened with greetings from Bayit Cham’s CEO, Rabbi Arie Munk; followed by Ms. Ruti Halperin, director of the rehabilitation department at NII’s Ashdod branch; Ms. Hofit Tabibi, coordinator of the rehabilitation fund; Yael Ariel, Bayit Cham’ s Director of Vocational Rehabilitation; and many more. Later, we were captivated by the presentation of Avreimi Friedman, director of Bayit Cham’s T’chelet Center on the topic of secrecy and stigma in the ultra-Orthodox sector. Of course, there were delectable refreshments and the very exciting part – presenting certificates to program graduates.
A., a program participant, shared his personal story, beginning with the day he was mortally wounded in a terror attack, on to describing the long process of rehabilitation – years! – and then how the Handyman program turned his life around in general and particularly, in the area of employment. As soon as he completed Handyman training, he landed a job and has successfully integrated at work🏆.
These days, program participants continue to be supported on their vocational paths by Bayit Cham’s coaches and some of them, such as A., are already working at mainstream jobs💪
We thank the Handyman staff for the beautiful graduation ceremony and, above all, for their hard, professional and dedicated work throughout the year 🙏 and we wish the graduates much success in their future journeys❤️
