To this end, we established employment services that promote recovery in a gradual and practical process, helping people leave behind feelings of purposelessness and enter the world of healing and success.
Bayit Cham’s employment services are a central and leading factor in the process of our clients’ recovery; we take them through a process, leading them step by step through a system that is adapted to various levels of functioning.

In addition to the Ministry of Health’s general approval that entitles you to a rehabilitation package, special authorization will be given for specific services included in the package according to individual need. Bayit Cham offers vocational rehabilitation, one of the main services provided in the rehabilitation package. We provide support and guidance at various levels, from sheltered employment to supported employment at mainstream jobs and in between – transitional group employment. After securing approval for the framework you want, you will be contacted by a social worker / vocational coach for an initial assessment meeting.
At the first meeting, we will listen to the questions and racing thoughts as you set out on a new path. It is important that you have all the necessary information so you’ll feel confident that you’re in the right place, that the process is clear to you and that you agree with it. During this session, we’ll explain to you the nature of the service, we’ll discuss your doubts, your expectations of us, your role in the process and more. And when we’re done, let’s move onward – the process is underway until you find a job and successfully integrate…

After a steady period of integration at work, employees in recovery allow themselves to express their dreams for their future careers. Beyond basic integration in the workplace, they aspire to increase their knowledge and apply themselves to study professions that will enable them to maximize their skills and strengths. They often don’t have the means to finance professional studies. And furthermore, some don’t know where their unique talents lie and in what field they are most likely to succeed. To this end, the National Insurance Institute provides professional career assessment services and helps fund subsequent studies.
