Last week we decided to go for a slightly different type of peer sharing, and simply have our new partners get to know our veteran partners…
The Hamat factory in Ashdod has employed workers with disabilities for many years in a variety of jobs and positions. Today we toured the Hamat factory together with managers from another factory who want to start a new collaboration with us by hiring Bayit Cham clients. During the joint tour we were impressed by how things operate, how it affects the plant’s productivity, how to maintain safety procedures and more.
It was very enlightening and exciting to see our clients on the job and enjoying it (and they were so happy and surprised to meet their vocational coach 😉). Many thanks to Yehuda, the Hamat factory manager who hosted us and patiently answered all questions, and a big thanks to Avraham Avrotzky from our staff down south who guided us on the tour.
Now we’re looking forward to getting started in the new factory and implementing the insights we’ve gained 😁 – we’re ready to embark on our new collaboration!
