Masks – not just for Purim!

Avrumi Schnek, veteran personal coach and director of Bayit Cham’s “Tze’adim” Coaching Center, enlightened us this week in a fascinating workshop what types of “masks” we wear every day, all day … Why is this important? What purpose do the masks serve? How can we replace an unwanted mask?
Here’s a tiny sampling of the workshop:
We wear three types of masks – the positive one (towards ourselves), the nice person (people pleasing) and the angry one. In order to remove masks or replace them, we need to do some challenging inner work… with lots of determination and awareness.
Bear in mind that there are masks that protect us, that are even important and that should not be taken off even if on the inside we feel completely differently, such as wearing a “self-confidence” mask at a job interview😉
So which mask would you want to give up and which ones would you keep?
Many thanks to Avrumi for the workshop ♥ ️🙏
