Last week, yet another cycle of the “Handyman” program ⚒ in Ashdod came to a close at an exciting ceremony in which each graduate received his certificate🎓
Participants worked hard throughout the year, mainly ridding themselves of negative behavior patterns that inhibited their advancement while learning new skills that are required in the world of work to propel them to success (time management, perseverance, responsibility, computer literacy and more). Of course the fun part was learning to saw, build, assemble, paint, break locks and maybe even get a few electric shocks by mistake.
But after an amazing process, everyone is ready for the job market!
Of course it’s with the help of the amazing and devoted staff Down South who made it all happen…
Bayit Cham’s director Arie Munk greeted the crowd and expressed his great appreciation for the staff, as well as other important guests and our partners in the project: the people from the Southern Region Rehabilitation Basket the directors of the National Insurance Institute’s Ashdod branch, the director of Miftach and the deputy mayor of Ashdod. This is a good opportunity to say thank you to them 🙏. They too received exciting honor certificates…
We wish great success to all the graduates who are moving on to a bright future.
Follow us as we move towards opening the program’s next cycle…
In the meantime, enjoy some photos🤗
