Belibeinu Treatment Centers
Bayit Cham established Belibeinu treatment centers in in 2010 in order to provide child victims of sexual trauma from the Orthodox sector with professional, culturally sensitive therapy. The program was initiated after Bayit Cham was apprised of the horrific scope of the phenomenon, its severity, and the lack of professional services to answer the crying need.
On staff is a team of expert, highly devoted therapists – LCSWs specializing in treating sexual trauma. The staff receives ongoing training and guidance in order to keep abreast of the latest treatment options and acquire tools for optimal treatment.
Treatment at the center is comprised of dynamic therapy combined with trauma-focused treatment methods.
- EMDR (Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) – processing trauma through eye movement;
- CPP (Child-Parent Psychotherapy) – dyadic treatment with a focus on trauma.
The therapeutic process includes:
- Individual therapy;
- Dyadic therapy (parent + child);
- Parental guidance – how to support their child through the process.
The Center also serves as a telephone advisory to parents, therapists and educators.
*Belibeinu operates in three branches: Givatayim, Ramat Gan and Tel Aviv
The service at the center is given gratis
