Benafsheinu opened its doors in 2013 in order to treat women survivors of sexual abuse (ages 18+) from religious backgrounds. It is one of Israel's 6 largest centers treating sexual trauma.
It is unique in its culturally sensitive treatment, adapted to the needs of the religious community.
A new division has just opened its doors to religious male survivors of child sexual abuse. It is staffed by male clinical social workers with expertise in treatment of sexual trauma and a psychiatrist who provide culturally sensitive treatment.
