Earlier this month, the Rabbinical Center of Europe (RCE)’s professional forum took place in the city of Potsdam near Berlin in Germany. The conference was attended by dozens of rabbis and lecturers from all over Europe.
Bayit Cham Director Rabbi Arie Munk enriched conference participants with a variety of lectures on issues related to raising emotionally healthy children in this day and age, identifying emotional and mental health challenges and ways of treating them.
RCE Director Rabbi Menachem Margolin said that the conference was designed to respond to requests the RCE had received from dozens of rabbis to hold professional conferences on many subjects and that the issues under discussion at the conference are the most urgent ones that rabbis face in continental Europe.
Rabbi Aryeh Goldberg, Assistant Director of RCE, remarked that this is the seventh year that the Rabbinical Center of Europe has held a professional conference for rabbis dealing with all aspects of life as well as Jewish education. He added that public interest in the conference continues to grow from year to year.
At the conference’s end, the organizers thanked Bayit Cham Director Rabbi Arie Munk for dedicated his precious time despite a hectic schedule, traveling from Israel to participate and enrich conference participants with his broad knowledge and vast experience accumulated over the years.
It should be noted that during the year, Rabbi Munk is invited to conferences and seminars around the world to raise mental health awareness.
